Clay Intensive - Multi-Day Pottery Wheel Course

Who is it for?

For those who want to deep dive into the world of the pottery wheel. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned thrower, these intensive, small group workshops (max. 2 people) will be tailored to your existing knowledge and skills to help you progress your practice to the next level.

How does it work?

The workshop is structured over 5 days. You will spent the first two days in the studio building your foundational skills and confidence at the pottery wheel. These two days will be followed by a day off from the studio, giving your body and mind time to absorb all that has been gained and experienced in the previous days while you explore the beautiful city of Athens. You will then spend another two days in the studio integrating all you have learned and progressing your skills further.

What is included?

• 20+ hours of small group (2:1) tuition at the pottery wheel.

• Up to 30 kg of high quality stoneware clay.

• Use of studio glazes and firing of 2-6 pieces (depending on volume).

• 24% VAT.

The studio is full equipped with all the tools and equipment you will need. However, it you have any favourite tools/aprons etc. which you like to use to support your practice you are more than welcome to bring them with you.
